Artist's Comments

I designed this chair for a class assignment in 2003. It is clear acrylic lit by red and blue LEDs from the bottom. The model is approximately 4in x 4in x 6 in, where the full size one would be normal chair-sized. More my project can be seen here: [link]

I have been seriously considering making one, the only thing is the acrylic that I would have to get, which would be like an inch thick, costs hundreds of dollars (yes, I have priced it), so I can't imagine production will be anytime soon.

Now all you need is a rich patron, willing to fund all of your cool-chair needs.
good luck on that ;) it'd be awesome to see this chair full-size, but I shall content myself with the mini version for the time being!
so are you a web-designer or an industrial designer? MIAD?
Architecture student actually, UWM.
